Elasto-Gel Therapy Products are made of a tough,flexible gel covered with a four-way stretch material,which allows maximum conformity,heat transfer, and comfort.A single product serves both hot and cold applications. Cold: The wrap remains soft and flexible at temperatures as low as -20 degrees F.The cold wrap will usually numb the treated area within 5 minutes without severe schock and pain experience with ice or ice water treatments.The wraps will remain cold for 20 to 40 minutes. Freezer Storage:When storing in a freezer,the product should always be kept in a re-closable plastic bag to keep the gel from absorbing excessive moisture.If not kept in a bag the gel may become wet and pull away from the lycra and then stick to itself causing knots in the product.Although the product is still usable,it may not be as convient or easy to use. Suggested Heating Times:On an average-heat the product on high in the microwave,45 seconds to 1 minute on each side(watts 600-700) Conventional Oven-place product with straps tucked under the product, on a cookie sheet in the middle of the oven.Heat at 250 degrees F for 7 to 10 minutes,turn over,and continue heating.
